Reimagining Digital Education for Agency and Justice

Digital education is at a turning point. As artificial intelligence, platform logics, and data-driven systems reshape teaching and learning, we must ask not just what technology can do, but what it should do—and for whom. This site explores Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) as a space for critical practice, creative resistance, and pedagogical integrity. Grounded in the principles of student agency, authentic assessment, and social justice, my work challenges instrumental approaches to digital education and advocates for designs that are ethical, inclusive, and human-centred.
TEL as Resistance: A Manifesto
In an age of AI-driven assessment, platform logic, and depersonalised automation, Technology-Enhanced Learning must not become a vehicle for compliance and control. This manifesto reclaims TEL as a critical, student-centred, and pedagogically grounded practice—committed to agency, authenticity, and justice in digital education.
